Once upon a time, different types of rural fairs were held in villages and towns throughout the year. These rural fairs are now disappearing as our mind and mentality have changed with the times. A rural fair like this one, which is a holder of our own culture and tradition, is rarely seen now. However, in some places, many traditional fairs are still held, a tradition of many years, although it is rarely seen.

This fair has a history of almost two hundred years. But for the last twenty one years the fair is being held on the occasion of Mansa Puja of Hindu religion. This fair is organized in Launchghat area of ​​Munshiganj Sadar.

Now, of course, village fairs can be called trade fairs in terms of decorations. All home decoration items, various rides for children, all modern eateries. But when I was a child, when I used to go to fairs holding the hands of uncle or grandmother/grandmother, there were so many beautiful clay toys. I have bought cows, roosters, laughter, small flower tubs, water guns and mud banks at every fair.
