Introduction – December & Christmas – Jesus & Ramkrishna – Christianity and the Religion of Ramkrishna – Ramkrishna about Jesus and his spiritual practice on Christianity – A Confession of Devotee – Similarities of Two great Saints – Sacrifices for mankind – The Bottom Line

Introduction:

When the month of December comes, we get excited. Because it’s Christmas. The Great Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. A few days ago we celebrated Sri Sri Ma’s birthday. When the topic of mother comes, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa comes to our minds. Interestingly, Sri Ramakrishna also pursued the path of Jesus. Why not do it! So Jesus & Ramkrishna are still now the Light of the Universe.

About one-third of the world’s people are followers of Christianity and it has been spreading for more than two thousand years. From the emperors of Rome to the heads of state of modern times, many have and continue to patronize this religion.

Jesus – Sri Chaitanya – Ramkrishna: Jesus & Ramkrishna Still now The Light of the Universe

According to a statistic, Jesus Christ is the most talked about figure in the world today. Jesus Christ cannot be compared to any religious leader in the world or any other gifted person in any other field of life.

On the other hand, another Bhagavat Purusha (Godly Man)Sri Ramakrishna was born on this Bengal soil less than two hundred years ago. Jesus appeared a long time ago in terms of time.

Even Sri Chaitanya appeared hundreds of years ago. All three of them are still worshiped equally all over the world.

Sri Chaitanya and Sri Ramakrishna – both are worshipped by Western People. The pioneer of the Vaishnabh sect, Sri Chaitanya is nowadays famous for his generous ways of religious beliefs.

The Saint Probhupada, the man behind the spreading of the name and the generous religion of Chaitanya, is the only machine(Human) behind it.

Religious Practices of Ramkrishna:

Sri Ramkrishna came to this earth to preach Neo-Vedanta and the ” As Many Ways As Possible”. He also reached the people of the western world in the glory of his religion.

He personally practiced and attained all the major religions in this mortal life. That is why he has made his own place in the minds of modern people by preaching the above message.

He is the embodiment of the harmony of all religions. He is the embodied soul. He practiced all major religions and achieved success in his life.

Sri Ramakrishna himself said: “I had to take all religions at once, – Hindu, Muslim, Christian – and Shakta, Vaishnava, Vedanta, also had to come through these paths. I saw that one God – to Him all come, by different paths.

He said again: God is one and not two. He is called by different people by different names. Some say God, some say Allah, some say Krishna, some say Shiva, some say Brahma.

As there is water in a pond – one ghat man says water, another ghat man says water, another ghat man says water, – Hindu says water, Christian says water, Muslim says water, but the substance is the same. Like – the way. A path, like a religion, leads to God. For example, rivers come from different directions and meet at the confluence of the sea.

In another context he says: “I saw Satchidananda leave the shell (body) and come out and say, I am the avatar of the ages!”

Confession of A Devotee:

‘A devotee named Mani said: I feel that all three are one substance – Jesus Christ, Chaitanya and you (Sri Ramakrishna) – one person!” To which Sri Ramakrishna replied: “One is one. One, not two.” He Himself repeatedly spoke of His incarnation.

The writer of Kathamrita,Shri’m and other devotees also felt Him as the representative of the incarnations of previous eras like Ramachandra, Sri Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Chaitanya etc. and worshiped them with respect and love again and again.

Despite this, some feel that Sri Ramakrishna has more similarities with the life, words and ideology of Lord Jesus than any other incarnation.

In this context, we first remember that Sri Ramakrishna sometimes used to say to Christ: Muni Krishna. And his later famous quote about himself: “May Rama be Krishna, now is Ramakrishna.”

Sri Ramakrishna himself acknowledged his non-identity with Christ: “That same avatar dived and rose here to become Krishna, rose there to become Jesus.”

Jesus & Ramkrishna Still now The Light of the Universe

Speaking of memories, we are struck by the striking similarities between the life histories of both, from birth to death.

Both are unique in grandeur of personality, magnificence of character and miraculous expansion of heart.

Jesus Christ is the epitome of sacrifice and tolerance for people all over the world. In today’s world, the way of Jesus can be the ultimate example before heads of state like Russia , China, Pakistan and Ukraine. But there is no sign of progress on his path.

Anyway, we will try to find similarities between Jesus and Sri Ramakrishna here. There is no room to deny that the great lives and pursuits of both are our ultimate path.

Both are undisputed religious gurus. They are humanoid gods. Taking the lamp of God in their hands, they sacrificed their lives for the welfare of mankind.

The biographies of both Sri Ramakrishna and Jesus Christ are shrouded in mystery. Ramachandra Datta’s “Biography of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa” and Swami Sardananda’s “Sri Sri Ramakrishna Leela Prasanga” detail a popular story about Sri Ramakrishna.

While staying at Gayadham, father Khudiram Chatropadhyay saw in a dream a quadrupedal deity expressing his desire to take birth as his son.

During his sojourn at Gaya, Sri Ramakrishna-mata Chandramani also fainted when congested air entered his stomach while conversing with his consort Dhani Kamrani (Blacksmith) in a Shiva temple near the house. Indeed, God entered in his womb.

At that time he lost his definition. Gradually her pregnancy symptoms became obvious. A similar story is told in the Bible about Jesus. The Virgin Mary also became the mother of Jesus under the influence of divine power.

The first chapter of life – In childhood and adolescence, I see blacksmiths – potters – weavers – Zola – fishermen – garlands etc. The uneducated common people of the village, the so-called lower class, the brothers came from the family of the companions in both of their lives.

Those who have read the biographies of both know this news. Of course, they themselves also come from a poor nameless family.

One carpenter – the son of a carpenter. Another was the son of a poor priest. However, he has been roaming in Patuapara since his childhood. The strategy of construction came in the company of Patuas.

Ramkrishna mastered the game of color picking. I see the carpenter’s son not only making table chairs and household items with a hammer, and Purut’s son did not only paint and create pictures and dolls with clay.

But both artists took the responsibility of the creator and also fulfilled the responsibility of building a new all-round beautiful world.

He has also laid the foundation of the new heaven on the ground of truth. It is a strange thing that one person’s unfinished work has been carried forward by another person to perfection.

Both Jesus and Sri Ramakrishna possessed extraordinary wisdom from childhood, although they did get very little school-oriented education.

At the age of nine or ten, Gadadhar effortlessly solved a controversial unsolved scriptural question in the house of Lahababu, the zamindar of the village, on the occasion of Shraddha or last ritual after death.

The Pandits present looked in awe at the unfathomable minor village boy of Kamarpukur who possessed divine powers. Some were overjoyed and blessed Gadadhar.

From the Bible, we can learn about similar events in the life of Lord Jesus. Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem to attend the festival.

When the child was twelve years old, they went there every year as per the custom. When they left for home after the festival, the boy Jesus remained in Jerusalem. Let see it: Rabindranath Tagore On Jesus Christ

But his parents did not know. Finding him nowhere, they returned to Jerusalem to look for him again. Three days later they found him in Jerusalem.

He was sitting next to the Shastra Gurus and listening to them. And was asking many questions. Everyone listening to him was stunned by his sharp wit and beautiful answers. (The New Testament: St. Luke, 2|41-43, 45-47).

Shri’m and other devotees also felt Him as the representative of the incarnations of previous eras like Ramachandra, Sri Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Chaitanya etc. and worshiped them with respect and love again and again.
